Let my start off by saying this one is better than the first. I was so more into it than I was the first. It is kind of slow at the beginning, but it gets better as it goes, about half way through I couldn't put it down. I give it 3.4/5 stars!
Zoey is now the leader of the Dark Daughters and wants to change the group completely. She has found out that she has control over the five elements; earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. Zoey gets re involved with her ex-boyfriend Heath Luck. When two of Heath's friends show up dead, with their blood completely drained from their bodies; the police start to ask questions around the House of Night. Meanwhile, Aphrodite tells Nefert about her visions of the boys, and Nefert tells her that the Goddess Nyx has taken away her visions. However, Nefert has something to do with the disappearance of the boys. All the while Zoey has to figure out a way to deal with her feelings for three men, and deal with the lose of a friend.
